Rating: 4。5/ 5 Wow！ This is one action-packed story from cover to cover。 The writing team of Ms。 Eason and Ms。 Angelo have written an exciting story with Russian enemies， biological weapons， and danger at every turn。 The story line made you feel like you were actually along with Christina Sherman and Grey Parker。 I was caught up with them and didn’t want to stop reading。 Having a dog be the “person” that Christina as part of the Elite Guardians had to protect was a unique idea; I loved it！ It wa Rating: 4。5/ 5 Wow！ This is one action-packed story from cover to cover。 The writing team of Ms。 Eason and Ms。 Angelo have written an exciting story with Russian enemies， biological weapons， and danger at every turn。 The story line made you feel like you were actually along with Christina Sherman and Grey Parker。 I was caught up with them and didn’t want to stop reading。 Having a dog be the “person” that Christina as part of the Elite Guardians had to protect was a unique idea; I loved it！ It was interesting to see that the highly trained military dog Boss is what really brought Christina and Grey together。 I came to see he was a very special dog both in active duty and in Grey’s life。Trying to figure out who the villain was behind the attacks and murders was intriguing and something I enjoy reading。 It gave me great satisfaction when I was able to identify The Scavenger。 However， I was not able to solve what his motives were and when it all came to light at the end of the story it made perfect sense。 If you have read the Elite Guardian series you will recognize some of the people since they are part of the team。 However， you can read this as a standalone since the story doesn’t go into great detail about the other stories。 I highly recommend this Christian suspense story。 The faith aspect was that which I felt encouraged and was woven throughout the story in a meaningful way。 I was given a copy of this book and was not required to write a positive review。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

For a debut author， the standard was very high。When I first saw this season from Sunrise will take me back to Elite Guardians， I was super excited。 But also， a bit nervous because Lynette Eason is a favourite author and I always have high expectations when I see her name。 Kate Angelo did not disappoint。Driving Force was a thrilling right from the first pages right till the end。 The danger to the characters was around every corner， and the action fast paced and realistic。Grey and Christina， both For a debut author， the standard was very high。When I first saw this season from Sunrise will take me back to Elite Guardians， I was super excited。 But also， a bit nervous because Lynette Eason is a favourite author and I always have high expectations when I see her name。 Kate Angelo did not disappoint。Driving Force was a thrilling right from the first pages right till the end。 The danger to the characters was around every corner， and the action fast paced and realistic。Grey and Christina， both with their military back grounds， had great back stories， baggage to work through and I appreciated how Christina just lived her faith and through that guided Grey back to God。 The star of the book was 100% Boss。 I loved his scenes and how he interacted with all the other characters。So， I did identify the bad guy from the start - not sure if that was intentional so that the readers know something the characters don't - but it did not dimmer my enjoyment of this book。 I loved the snippets from the bad guy's POV。Kate Angelo is an author to watch and if you loved Lynette Eason's Elite Guardian series， you would love this first book in the Elite Guardian Collection。*I received a complimentary copy from the publisher。 All opinions expressed are my own。* 。。。more

Wowza， this book has everything I want in a romantic suspense， and so much more！ Romantic suspense is my favorite genre and I tend to be very picky when it comes to books in this genre， so trust me when I say that Driving Force is an amazing book， and it instantly became a favorite of mine！ Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors and so when I heard that her Elite Guardians series was getting a reboot I was beyond excited to read them。 With Driving Force Lynette Eason and Kate Angelo have gi Wowza， this book has everything I want in a romantic suspense， and so much more！ Romantic suspense is my favorite genre and I tend to be very picky when it comes to books in this genre， so trust me when I say that Driving Force is an amazing book， and it instantly became a favorite of mine！ Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors and so when I heard that her Elite Guardians series was getting a reboot I was beyond excited to read them。 With Driving Force Lynette Eason and Kate Angelo have given us a masterpiece that will be an absolute treat for romantic suspense readers everywhere！ Christina and Grey were fantastic characters， they are both awesome in their own right and they are even better together！ I loved getting to know Christina better！ And Grey is such an amazing （and hunky！） hero， he may be in a wheelchair but don’t let that fool you， the man is no shrinking violet， he’s every bit as tough and capable as Christina， I love how the author wrote his character and at the same time did a brilliant job of illustrating the challenges and frustrations that people with disabilities face every day， inspiring us all to be more compassionate and empathetic。 And Grey’s Tesla， oh my word！ Even if you’re not a car geek this one will definitely make your jaw drop and you just might find yourself drooling a little！ And Boss， he’s such an amazing dog， and I just love him to pieces！This book has the perfect balance of romance and suspense， and also an amazing faith story which was one of my favorite parts of the book！ This author crafted a mystery that was absolutely fascinating （albeit a bit terrifying to think about） and I felt like I was learning new things while reading， which I always love。Driving Force kept me on the edge of my seat from page one until the end。 This first book in the Elite Guardians collection is not to be missed！Kate Angelo is definitely an author to watch， and she totally has a forever fan in me！ Driving Force is on my list of favorite reads of 2022！ I most highly recommend it， and cannot wait to read the next book in the Elite Guardians collection！ I received an ebook ARC copy of this book from the publisher。 My review was not influenced in any way。 All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own。 。。。more
